Meet the Therapist
Certified Massage Therapist - 78637 |
"I believe that a good massage therapist must have excellent training, combined with a sense of intuition that can't be taught - I offer both to all my clients."
Centrally located in Midtown Sacramento, my studio is a judgement free, cancer friendly practice. I specialize in restoring a sense of balance, helping my clients to experience complete relaxation by relieving not only muscle aches, but more importantly releasing the trauma locked away in the nervous system that holds the memory of the pain.
I can still remember how restored my body felt the first time I received my first massage. I was 25 years old, on a family vacation. The memory of that feeling motivated me to seek other techniques, talking to therapists about their approaches and training, hoping to one day be part of that healing community. In the meantime, my focus was my thriving career in Information Technology. During those years, my loved ones began to experience health issues such as fibromyalgia, arthritis and lupus; conditions characterized by aches and pain that often can't be alleviated with medications. I saw an opportunity to put to practice the little I learned in hopes to provide comfort, but I felt I needed more. That's when I made the decision to enroll in massage school. It was there where I discovered my true calling, a career that allowed me to utilize my people skills and desire to solve problems in ways I never imagined. Once out of school I left my 25-year career in IT and embarked on this new journey. Today I have a successful, thriving private practice. My clients include people who use their bodies very differently at work: office professionals, doctors, nurses, lawyers, law enforcement, other massage therapists, body builders, athletes, drivers, artists, dancers, hair dressers. I have experience with the elderly as well as plus size clientele. I've worked with clients dealing with a range of health issues including cancer, spinal injuries, plantar fasciitis, stroke, fibromyalgia, lupus, arthritis, frozen shoulder and sciatic issues just to highlight a few. So whether you have tense shoulders from the daily stresses, lower back pain from bad posture or sitting too long, chronic pain, frozen shoulder or old muscle injuries, I welcome the opportunity to aid you in your healing journey. Come visit me at my new Midtown Sacramento location. Reserve your Halftime experience today. Let's work together on a more relaxed, refocused, revitalized and balanced you. |
